Please allow at least two hours for your initial visit, and one hour for follow-up visits.
In order to receive the maximum possible benefits from your treatments, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Do not eat an unusually large meal immediately before or after your treatment.
Do not over-exercise, engage in sexual activity, or consume alcoholic beverages immediately before or after a treatment.
Allow time after your treatments for rest. This is especially important for the first few visits.
Continue to take any prescription medicines as directed by your western-trained doctor.
Remember to keep good mental or written notes of your responses to the treatments.
Normally, a patient does not feel any side effects after treatment. As energy is redirected in the body, internal chemicals and hormones are regulated, allowing healing to begin. Occasionally, original symptoms worsen for a few days, and then dissipate immediately thereafter. Other general changes in emotion, appetite, sleep, bowel or urination patterns may be triggered. These should not cause concern, as they are simply indications the treatment is beginning to work. It is common after the first or second treatment to experience a sensation of deep relaxation, or even mild disorientation immediately following the treatment.
